What is The Virtual Peach?
____________________________________________________________________________
The Virtual Peach is where you, as online business owner, can find tips, products, and services to help create and grow your business. Here you can find topics which range from “getting started” to “outsourcing” and every phase in between. Let me warn you now, this no ordinary business tips website. Because I am a virtual assistant from Georgia, you are also likely to find a good bit of southern charm, southern “hospitality”, and more than a little southern sass intermingled in the topics.
The tips, tricks, and ideas you’ll find here are the direct result of what I learned while building my own business and working with great clients. One of the perks of being a VA is learning from a variety of clients. If you pay attention, there is always something new to be learned.
About Kit Singleton

I am a Georgia peach, hence the name of the site. Although my accent is similar to Jeff Foxworthy, I do not meet the “redneck” criteria. I’m more of the southern belle type, minus the hoop skirt, of course. I do get my share of good natured teasing due to my accent. What do I do when teased? Like the good belle that I am, I ham it up just for fun!
Life is too short to neglect the little things in life. Enjoying our work and making memories with family and friends should be among our top priorities. Here’s why.
How I Became A Virtual Assistant
Several years ago, I was the member of a wonderful extended family. I was married and mothering step-children. I had quit my job as a teacher to stay home with my step-son. Life was good. Then the tough times hit.
In a 12 month period, I lost both of my grandparents, my father, my husband, and my step-son. I was grieving, penniless, jobless, and just couldn’t face going out into the workforce again. I was encouraged by others to use my talents and turn my graphics/crafts hobby into an online business. That’s when I started my first business to help families create lasting memories and strong bonds.
At that time, I knew little about online business. As I learned, I discovered that I already possessed many skills, which would benefit other online business owners. It was then that I decided to offer virtual assistant services to online business owners. It fit in nicely with my goal to help families spend more time together.
Although I do have multiple businesses, it’s my virtual assistant service that continually gives me the most pleasure and satisfaction. This is because it allows me to use my favorite skills to help other online business owners make the most of their business efforts and family time. Making more time for family is the driving force behind everything I do.
